Your property plans are personal. Here’s how we handle the information you choose to share.

Your quiz and enquiry

You can complete the quiz without providing your name or email. Unsubmitted answers stay in the page’s memory and are lost when you leave or reload.

When you request a personal shortlist, we collect your email, optional name and notes, property preferences and confirmation that you would like us to contact you. A request reference helps us identify duplicate enquiries. Please don’t include identity documents, bank details or other sensitive information in the notes.

We use these details to respond to your request, clarify your needs and prepare your property search. The basis for this processing is taking steps at your request before entering a service relationship. This does not sign you up for a newsletter. We may also process necessary technical data for our legitimate interest in site security and preventing spam.

Where your information goes

Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores submitted forms on our behalf, including technical data used for security and spam filtering. Enquiry notifications go to our business email, provided through Google Workspace. João and Miguel use them to follow up with you.

We do not sell your enquiry details. If your search progresses and it is necessary to involve a property agency or an independent legal or other professional, we will explain the next step and the information needed.

Our service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards described in their data-processing terms. See Netlify’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Optional advertising measurement

Google Ads measurement loads only if you choose “Allow measurement”. It helps us understand visits, WhatsApp clicks, booking confirmations and completed shortlist requests. We do not send the contents of your brief, name or email to Google Ads, and advertising personalisation is disabled in our tag setup.

Your cookie choice is remembered on this browser for up to six months. You can reject measurement and still use the entire site, or change your choice at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer. Withdrawing permission stops future measurement; it does not undo information already processed with your permission. This optional processing relies on your consent.

WhatsApp, booking and email

Choosing a WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp; loading the booking calendar or following a Calendly link connects to Calendly. These services receive the information you enter there under their own privacy notices. Email links open your email app.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond, manage an ongoing search and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on whether you become a client and whether there is a legal need to retain a record. You can ask us to close your enquiry and delete information that we no longer need.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal data, restrict processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact us at the email above; we may need to confirm your identity. You may also complain to Portugal’s CNPD or your local data-protection authority.
